Great news for ZenFone Max Plus M1 users – Android 8.1 Oreo is finally available on your phone! Asus starts rolling out Android 8.1 Oreo update as version 15.02.1810.347 on ZenFone Max Plus M1 (ZB570TL). The update will roll out via OTA (over-the-air), or in case, you want to install it manually you can download the firmware from below.

Apart from Android 8.1 Oreo, the update 15.02.1810.347 has also includes October 2018 Google security patch, optimized audio performance for Line APK, general bug fixes and system stability improvements.

Android 8.1 Oreo on ZenFone-Max-Plus-Mi

If you haven’t received the new OTA update for the build number 15.02.1810.347 on ZenFone Max Plus M1, check it manually by going to Settings -> About – > System Update. Alternatively, you can download the full update file (1.6 GB) and install manually.

Note: Check your SKU version (for example WW). Please update the same SKU version only.

1. Download ZB570TL_ WW_15.02.1810.347 firmware update zip file from here.

2. Double click the downloaded firmware zip file to see another zip file it. If another zip file found inside it, unzip the downloaded firmware zip file

3. Connect the phone to your PC, move the update zip file to the root directory of your phone’s internal storage and then disconnect the phone from PC.

4. You will see firmware update notification popped up on status bar. Select it and follow steps to update firmware. After completing the installation, your phone will reboot into the new version. [Source]
