Android’s default browser Google Chrome is feature rich and offers excellent browsing experience, but once you open several tabs at the same time, you will experience slow page loading and glitch in scrolling on some Android phones. Here is how to fix this issue.

By default, Chrome for Android uses only 128MB of RAM; however, if your Android phone can spare more RAM, you can change this value to 256MB or 512MB that will speed up your Chrome browser. Here is how to change this value.

How to Speed Up Chrome Browser

1. Open Chrome browser on your phone.

2. In the address bar (omnibox), type the following URL and hit Enter.

3. It will open Chrome’s experimental settings page.

4. Now, tap the ‘Default’ button under ‘Maximum tiles for interest area’ and choose 256 or 512MB RAM option. Close Chrome browser and run it again.
