The good news is that Google Camera 7.0 port is now available for many non-Pixel smartphones, including the Xiaomi Mi A3. Google Camera 7.0 has a refurbished UI and brings a new “Infinity focus” option for Night Sight mode. Another new feature of the latest camera app is camera coaching that teaches you to take stunning photos. The Pixel 4 camera (GCam_7.0) has a new HDR+ control option as well as many new features.

Google camera port for Xiaomi Mi A3

A working GCam_7.0 port is available for Xiaomi Mi A3. Based on Arnova8G2’s GCam_7 port, the present status of the app is beta (GCam_7.0.009_4.0beta4). Interested users can download GCam_7.0 APK on their Xiaomi Mi A3 and try new features.

Update (20 July 2020): Google Camera 7.4 APK (GCam 7.4) beta version is now available for many non-Pixel devices, including the Xiaomi Mi A3 (download link below). You can install it on any device run on Android 10 and up, after uninstalling the old version.

Download and install GCam 7.0/ 7.4 port on Xiaomi Mi A3 and other phones:

  1. Download GCam_7.0.009_4.0beta4 APK to your Mi A3 (source)
  2. Or, download GCam 7.4 APK (beta) for Mi A3, Redmi Note 9 Pro, 8 Pro, 7 Pro and 5 Pro.
  3. Uninstall any previously install GCam APK
  4. Open your file browser and install the APK (first time users need to enable Unknown sources option)
  5. Start using your new camera

As you all know, Google camera software is exclusive to Google Pixel phones. It means many features of the Google camera app won’t work on non-Pixel phones. Also, you may feel buggy while using the camera on some devices. On Xiaomi Mi A3, the working of Google Camera 7.0 is almost stable, but front portrait mode isn’t working well.

GCam 7.4 port by Parrot043 is now available for Xiaomi Mi A3, Mi 9 Lite, Redmi Note 9, Note 8, Note 7 and other phones with Snapdragon 710 and 845 processors.
