In this guide, we will show you how to enable Pixel Launcher’s semi-transparent dock in Marshmallow with Pixel Dock. Pixel Launcher is an exclusive feature of Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphone. It can be installed on other devices running on Android Nougat and Marshmallow, but you will not get all features of Pixel Launcher. For example, you will not get the semi-transparent dock in Marshmallow.

Pixel Dock is a simple Xposed module that enables Pixel Launcher’s semi-transparent dock in phones running on Android Marshmallow, just like Pixel Launcher looks like in Android Nougat. Read on to know how to install and activate Pixel Dock module to get semi-transparent dock in Marshmallow.

Developed by an XDA contributor matteo915, the Pixel Dock Xposed module can be downloaded from Xposed module repository. If you are interested in trying it, you can download its APK and install it on your phone.

Note: Root access with Xposed Framework installed on your phone is a prerequisite to install any Xposed module. Also, note that the Pixel Dock module is developed for phone running on Marshmallow.

How to install and activate Pixel Dock

1. Download ‘Pixel Dock’ APK from here and install it on your phone.

2. Open Xposed Framework Installer, go to the Modules section and tap on ‘Pixel Dock’ to enable it.

3. If any permission asked, just accept it.

4. Restart your phone to see the changes.
