Verbatim is a new search feature by Google designed to help users quickly and effortlessly find information they really looking for. You don’t need to include “quotation marks” or “+” to get search results for a specific word you entered.

If you search with Verbatim tool on, Google uses exactly the same key words you entered for searching and will not offer usual search improvements like spelling correction suggestion, alternative spellings, etc.

How to turn on Verbatim Feature?

In Google search result page, click ‘More search tools’ option shown on the left side.

Then, choose ‘Verbatim’ (see screenshot above). That’s it.
