Find out who opened your Gmail account and from where

This is very simple. By checking your Gmail account login activity, you can easily find out Gmail login IP address, access type and country location. This information helps you to ensure only the authorized user is logging into Gmail account.

Here is how to check Gmail account login details:

1. Login into your Gmail account.

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the inbox window & click ‘Details’ link next to IP address.

3. A new pop-up window will open and displays the following details:

– Access Type like web browser, mobile, POP3 etc.
– IP address of location of Gmail account login.
– Date & time of account login in specific time zone.

If you think your account has been compromised, you can change your password from the same window. (Via)

    it is really a wonderful option from google, but it has very recent records,, it will be great if it has all records,,

    It is good that google always provide good security to accounts. And google don’t stop thinking at the tchnical part, they go further to think about other things that can cause problems.

    If someone find your password he won’t tell you but he will read all your messages.

      Yes, as it is a popular service Google should provide good security to accounts.
      There are examples for account hacking. Some people are able to extract password from others Orkut account.
