Xiaomi’s has released September 2019 security update to its new Android One phone Mi A3. The update carries the build number V10.3.6.0PFQMIXM and available for download now. The update log doesn’t mention anything new, but it will also carry general bug fixes and optimizations.
Xiaomi Mi A3 is one of the very affordable Android One phones. It features 48 MP ultra-wide triple camera, AMOLED display, and in-screen fingerprint scanner. However, many users are complaining about the low brightness and slow fingerprint scanner.
It seems that the new PKQ1.190416.001.V10.3.6.0PFQMIXM update won’t carry fix for the aforementioned issues. The OTA update start rolling out which weighs around 104MB in size. If you don’t have the update yet, check it by going to Settings > System > Advanced > System update.
Another good news is that Xiaomi released the Android 10 update for the Redmi K20 Pro phone. Mi A3 will also get the Android 10 update, but update schedule for the device isn’t yet available.
Xiaomi has launched new Redmi series phones – Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro. The latter features a 64MP quad-camera setup with a dedicated macro camera.
