These budget devices are now getting new software update (MIUI 9.1.2.0) with a bunch of new features, optimizations and bug fixes. Xiaomi starts rolling out MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM V9.1.2.0 OTA (over the air) update to these devices, which will get on your device in the coming days.

MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM v9.1.2.0 recovery image and fastboot files are now available for both Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite.
