Good news for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T owners. The company released a software new update for both devices in the open beta channel with October 2018 security patches. OxygenOS Open Beta 21 and Open Beta 19 are now available for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T respectively. However, the bad news is that the update is still based on Android 8.1 Oreo and does not include any major changes.

OnePlus starts rolling out the OxygenOS Open Beta 21/19 OTA for OnePlus 5/5T. The OTA update weighs around 79 MB. As always, the OTA rollout is incremental, so it will take few hours or even few days to reach to all OnePlus 5 and 5T running on the Open Beta channel.
