OnePlus has released new OxygenOS Open Beta 26 and 17 (based on Android 8.0 Oreo) update for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T with bug fixes and optimizations. The update improves Wi-Fi and data connectivity, reduce device heating up, and bring back user feedback app, fixes random reboots, notification dots issue, ambient display issue and more to your OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.

If you are signed up for OxygenOS Open Beta program, you will get the OxygenOS Open Beta 26/17 OTA (over-the-air) update on your device. Other users can download and install the full ROM manually and experience all new Android 8.0 Oreo. Below is the full changelog of this new update.

– Added user feedback app
– Improved Wi-Fi and Data connectivity
– Improved the stability of Picture-in-Picture mode
– Fixed issue of missing voice mail tab in dialer

– General bug fixes

How to Download and Install OxygenOS Open Beta Manually>/h4>

1. Download OnePlus 3 Open Beta 26 full firmware package from here. For OnePlus 3T, download Open Beta 17 full firmware package from here.

2. After downloading the firmware, follow this installation instruction

Note: If you prefer stable version, then stick on the OxygenOS 4.5.1 (current stable version) for OnePlus 3/3T which is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. (Source – OnePlus)
