HTC U12+ is one of the best performing handset from HTC, which has received new features and performance enhancements with a new software update. After being rolled out the June security update for HTC U12 Plus in Asian region, the company now starts rolling out the same update for the device sold in European market. The update bumps the software version to 1.21.401.4.

The new update (software version 1.21.401.4) includes new features for camera, enhancements to pressure sensitive buttons, battery life improvements and system performance boost. The OTA (over-the-air) update, which weighs around 442MB, starts rolling out to HTC U12 Plus in Europe.

Since the update is rolling out in batches, it will take a week or more to get the OTA notification on your device.

HTC U12+ was launched with amazing hardware specs (Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM, and 64/128 GB storage), Android Oreo, Edge Sense 2, and much more. It features Super LCD6 (1440 x 2880 pixels) 6-inch screen and HDR 10 support, Squeezable edges, Edge Launcher and Face Unlock.

It also features 12MP, f/1.7 wide-angle lens with HTC Ultra Pixel technology and a 16MP f/2.6 telephoto lens back cameras. There have two 8MP front-facing cameras.

Comes to the new software update, if you have not received the OTA notification for the update yet, check it manually:

– From the Home screen, swipe up and then find and tap Settings

– Tap System > About phone > Software updates.

– Tap Check now.

Turn on mobile data or connect HTC U12+ to a Wi-Fi network before you check for updates. (source)
