Huawei will soon release Android 8.0 Oreo update for Honor 8 in Europe. Both single SIM and Dual SIM variants (FRD-L02, FRD-L09 and FRD-L019) will get the OTA update with the new EMUI 8.0 skin, several new features and latest security patches. It is expected that these devices will get the Oreo update globally sooner or later

Recently, Huawei upgraded many of its devices (Honor 8 Pro, Honor 7X, Huawei P10, Huawei P8, and more) to Android Oreo based EMUI 8.0 with several advanced features like Face Unlock, AI-based optimizations, smart lock screen notification, Turbo Acceleration, and much more.

The EMUI 8.0 Oreo update B521 (8.0.0.521) for Honor 8 (Europe) includes new features like the floating Navigation dock, 3D dynamic lock screen wallpapers, PrivateSpace, HiVoice and Hiboard, Recycle bin for gallery, multi Bluetooth connectivity, latest security patches, improved false touch protection and more.

Android Oreo OTA update will hit the device soon. If your device model is FRD-L02, FRD-L09 or FRD-L019 (CUS 432, Europe) check the update manually by going to Settings > About Phone > System Updates > check for the new firmware.

You can also use the force update method to install latest software update on Huawei or on its sub-brand Honor phone. Download the Huawei HiCare app from Play store, which lets you install the new update on your phone without any complication.

You can also download and install the update manually. All you need Huawei Firmware finder app and experience in flashing stock firmware on Huawei or Honor phone. (source)
