Asus ZenFone Max M2 gets Selfie camera EIS, camera performance improvements, Fingerprint registration improvements, December 2018 security patch, general bug fixes and optimizations. The update is now available for ZenFone Max M2 ZB633KL variant and comes with build number WW_15.2016.1812.145.

Asus Zenfone Max (M2) was released in December 2018 with Android 8.1 Oreo (ZenUI) and November security patch. The handset features Snapdragon 632 processor, 32 GB/64 GB storage options, 3GB/ 4GB ROM options, 6.26 inches, 19:9 IPS LCD display, dual 13 MP+ 2 MP PixelMaster camera, 8 MP Selfie camera, 4000 mAh battery and more.

The new software update for Asus ZenFone Max M2 (WW_15.2016.1812.145) will improve camera performance on the phone. You can capture even better vivid and high-quality photos and videos along with Asus’s PixelMaster technology. In addition, the added EIS (electronics image stabilization) for front camera will enhance your Selfie experience.

The OTA update for this update is live now. If you have not received the OTA notification on your ZenFone Max (M2), check for the update manually. To do so, go to Settings > System > System updates to check for the update.
