What is Form AutoFill feature in Google Chrome? This feature stores all the text data such as addresses, phone number, name, age, etc you have entered earlier in forms.

As this is not a necessary feature, and if you don’t like to save your personal details on your browser (so that others don’t use it), you can simply disable this feature in Chrome.

To disable form autofill in Chrome follow as described below:

Click on the settings button (wrench icon) and choose ‘Options’ from the drop down menu.

Now from the popup window, select Personal Stuff tab. Under this tab, look for the third field with the name “Form Autofill”. Click on “Never save text from forms”.

Now click ‘Close’ button to save the settings. That’s it.
