Windows Phone users can now watch YouTube video on their TV via Google Chromecast. Tube Cast is a free Windows phone app that lets you send YouTube videos to the Chromecast over Wi-Fi network. This may be the first app that allows you to use Chromecast on Windows Phone.

For your information, Chromecast is a small, cheap dongle that connects to your TV and cast media to the big screen via Android phone and now via your Windows Phone too, though for YouTube video only.

How to use Chromecast on Windows Phone

Installing and configuring Tube Cast is simple. Turn on Wi-Fi, download the app on your Windows Phone, and launch it. The app should find you Chromecast device right away.

Now, start searching for your favourite videos on YouTube, then simply taps the video title to start playback to your Chromecast. That’s it.

Please note that, the app (version 1.0) currently only supports initiating playback. It will not support pause, stop or rewind options. May be the future version will have more cool features.
