OnePlus allows bootloader unlocking on OnePlus 6 and 6T, which means anyone can customize the phone with TWRP recovery, custom ROMs, Mods, etc. Unfortunately, these processes sometimes can lead the phone stuck into Qualcomm CrashDump Mode. Read on to know how to recover OnePlus 6 and 6T from Qualcomm CrashDump Mode and clean the partition. Crashdump usually came upon while flashing a ROM wrongly or make changes in the system internal. The below given Crashdump recover method is not complicated, but your phone’s bootloader should be unlocked.

Note that the guide will wipe data and custom recovery from the phone. This method won’t help to go back to Android Oreo. Also, required the firmware (OxygenOS) corresponding to the version you had on the phone.

– Unlocked bootloader on OnePlus 6 and 6T
– Above 70% battery charge in the phone
– OnePlus drivers installed on your PC
– OxygenOS version you had on the phone
– ADB and Fastboot driver setup on the PC

Recover Qualcomm CrashDump Mode on OnePlus 6/6T

Disclaimer: The below given procedures are risky and may brick your device. Follow the instruction at your own risk. We will not be liable if any damage occurs to your device and/or its components.

1. Download the ROM zip file corresponding to the version you had on the phone from above link.

2. Unpack the zip file and save all content inside the ADB installation folder on your PC.

Note: In the unpacked file, if you find two zip files named “images” and “Others_flashall”, unpack those two zip files as well.

3. Restart OnePlus 6/6T into Fastboot mode (Hold down Power + Volume Down buttons).

4. Connect the phone to the PC

5. Go to the ADB installation folder and double click the file “flash-all-partitions-fastboot.bat“.

6. Wait for the procedure to complete. It will take few minutes.

Note: During the process, you will get the message “Invalid sparce file format at header magic” several times. This is normal and not an error.

  1. I’m using Oneplus 6 my phone suddenly struck in qualicom crash dump mode and bootlocker is under locked i visited OnePlus service Center they are asking me to pay 20thousand to replace the entire motherboard !!
    Is there any other source to get back my mobile ..?? Please help
