Samsung has released the first beta version of the One UI 7 with several new features, AI tools, personalization options and visual enhancements. Improved Home screen, new widgets, Now Bar for live activities, new Lock screen personalization, enhanced camera, new Quick settings panel, etc. are some of new changes in One UI 7 beta.
Samsung has started rolling out the first beta build of One UI 7 to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in select regions. Since the rollout is happening in a phased manner, it could take a few weeks for the update to show up on more devices. However, experienced users can download and install the One UI 7.0 Beta 1 on their devices via the ADB Sideload method.
The safest method to install One UI 7 beta is via Samsung Members app. However, if you are interested in installing the One UI 7.0 Beta 1 on your Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, or Galaxy S24 Ultra via ADB, then this guide may help you. You will need to download the One UI 7 update zip file and the ADB Platform Tools to your Windows PC. Additionally, you will need to enable USB debugging on your Galaxy device.

Warning: Before proceeding with the guide below, make sure to back up all the data on your device. Additionally, while installing the One UI 7 beta via the ADB sideload method will not trip Knox or affect your warranty in any way, but you will not receive further OTA updates until you install the stable firmware. Also, keep in mind that banking apps may not work with the beta software, as it is not Google Play certified.
How to Sideload One UI 7 Beta on Samsung Galaxy S24 Series?
1. Download Google’s Platform Tools to your Windows PC and unzip it.
2. Next, enable USB Debugging on Galaxy S4 series [To do so, go to Settings > About Phone > Tap on Build Number 7 times > Go back to Settings > System > Advanced > Developer Options > Enable USB Debugging]
3. Now download One UI 7 beta firmware file for Galaxy S24 series from the link below:
Galaxy S24 (SM-S921B) International model (link)
Galaxy S24+ (SM-S926B) International model (link)
Galaxy S24 Ultra (SM-S928B) International model (link)
4. If the downloaded firmware file is in .BIN format, rename it to ‘update’ and change its extension to ZIP.
5. Now, copy the “update.zip” file and paste it in inside the Platform Tools folder.
6. Inside the Platform Tools folder, open Windows Terminal or Command Prompt.
7. Now, connect your phone to your PC via original USB cable and allow USB Debugging when asking.
8. Next, in the Command Prompt, type “adb reboot recovery” and press Enter to boot your phone into recovery mode.
9. In recovery mode on your phone, select “update via ADB” (use Volume up/down buttons and select using Power button)
10. In the Command Prompt, type “adb devices” and press Enter.
11. If your device detected, execute the command “adb sideload update.zip”
12. The installation process will start and reboot into One UI 7 after a few minutes.
