From version 15, Opera browser has going through a new phase. Now it is on Chrome’s rendering engine, it is much faster, offers simple browsing with speed dial, combined search and address bar and more, but it misses some basic functions of a browser and the most important one is the lack of bookmark manager.

The latest version of Opera comes with a bookmarks bar that offers fast access to your favorite websites, but it is turned off by default. You can activate bookmarks bar in the Settings screen.

Click Opera button and select Settings or use Alt + P shortcut to launch Settings screen. Under “User Interface” option tick “Show the bookmarks bar”. Now use the Ctrl + D shortcut key to bookmark your favorite web pages.
