You’ve probably been on a web page and wanted to printout the page for later reference or to use for other needs. Upon printing, the browser will also add the date, page number and URL to any page you print. For some obvious reasons, you may want to remove these details from your printouts. Here is how to remove browser information from printouts.

Depending on the browser you are using, you can very easily stop this information appearing in your printouts.

Internet Explorer:

Firefox-Page-setup
Go to Print – Page Setup. Click each of the dropdown menu under ‘Headers’ and ‘Footers’ and choose ‘Empty’. Then click OK to save the settings.

Firefox:

IE-Page-Setup
Got Print – Page Setup and choose ‘Margins & Header/Footer’ tab. Click each of the dropdown menu under Headers&Footers option and choose ‘Empty’. Then click OK to save the settings.

Chrome:

Chrome-Print-Setup
Click Spanner icon and choose Print (Ctrl + P). Uncheck the option ‘Headers and Footer’ box.
