Google Discover feed is a great tool to get news and other information required for you. With a swipe-right gesture on your device’s home screen, you can access the discover page and see the latest news, stories, sports scores, and weather information. You can even personalize it with the topics that interest you.
Google Discover feed is only available on Google Pixel and compatible Android One devices. Like other smartphones, Google Discover feed isn’t officially available on Redmi and Xiaomi smartphones, but you can get on your device with a little effort.
To enable Google Discover Feed on any Redmi and Xiaomi phone, you need to install Lawnchair launcher and its companion app Lawnfeed on your device. FYI, Lawnchair is one of the best launcher apps available on Play Store, and it brings Google Pixel like UI to any phone.
- Download and install the Lawnchair Launcher app from the Play Store.
- Set it as your default launcher (Open Settings > tap on Apps & notifications > select Default Apps > tap on Home app > select Lawnchair)
- Now, download Lawnfeed APK (link) and install it on your phone.
- Now, long press on the Home screen > tap on Home settings > tap on Integrations > and turn on Display Google app toggle.
You are now ready to discover great content with a swipe right gesture from your home screen. To customize the Discover feed, open Google app on your device, and tap on the ‘Customize Discover’ menu.
