Steps to Disable/Enable WiFi and Bluetooth Auto Scanning Features on Android
- Go to settings and tap on the search button at the top right corner of the screen.
- In the search box, type ‘scanning’.
- Tap on the search result ‘scanning’ or Wi-Fi scanning/Bluetooth scanning
- Make sure that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi scanning toggles in off position.
Keep in mind that, disabling WiFi and Bluetooth auto-scanning features will affect the working of some apps, which requires your location, for example Google Maps. So when using apps like Maps, don’t turn off these two features.
