Realmeā€™s first flagship phone, Realme X2 Pro, has received January 2020 security update in India along with VoWiFi calling feature. Once you update your device to the A.09 version, you can make Wi-Fi calling to any contact regardless of network coverage, but you should have a VoWiFi enabled SIM card, such as Jio or Airtel, and turn on the feature.

To get the VoWiFi feature on Realme X2 Pro, first, you need to update your device to software version A.09. Check for the update by going to the system update. Alternatively, download the software version RMX1931EX_11.A.09 (link, link) and flash it manually, then follow the below steps to enable VoWiFi.

  1. Insert Jio or Airtel SIM card in SIM 1/SIM 2 slots
  2. Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network
  3. Go to Settings > tap on SIM Card & Mobile Data > tap on SIM 1/SIM 2
  4. Tap on Wi-Fi calling > and turn on the toggle.

The good news is that Realme will add VoWiFi support to all smartphones, including Realme 1. According to the timeline, the entire device will get the update before April 2020, so check your update regularly.
