A couple of days ago, Xiaomi announced Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, an upgrade on the Mi A1 of last year. Both devices are released under the Android One program and like the last year successor MI A1, both handsets are beautiful, affordable and feature packed – just as much a must have for anyone serious about their smartphone. 

The Mi A2 comes with a 5.99 – inch FHD+, 18:9 full screen display (2160×1080 FHD+, 403 PPI, 1500:1 contrast ratio). The handset powers by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and it comes with 4GB/6GB of RAM options. The available storage options are 32 GB, 64GB and 128 GB.

Regarding the camera, the Mi A2 packs a 12MP + 20MP dual camera on the rear and features HDR imaging technology, Panorama mode, Burst mode, Face recognition, AI Beautify 4.0 and Group selfie. It packs a 20MP AI Camera on the front for selfies and offers AI powered portrait mode, AI-powered Beautify 4.0, HDR, 4500K soft-toned selfie light, Selfie timer, Face recognition and Group selfie

The Mi A2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and a 3010mAh non-removable battery powers it. The handset will be available for purchase from next month. Pricing is not available now, but it will be under 20K in India.

Like before, Xiaomi included a set of new wallpapers to customize the home screen and lock screen of Mi A2. The default wallpaper is now available for download in HD resolution (1080 X 2160px).
