In my personal view, Microsoft’s new operating system Windows 8 is much more easy to use. A simple example is uninstalling unwanted programs and apps. In Windows 8, it is as easy as right clicking a tile on the Start screen and choosing Uninstall – no need to go through the Control Panel, Programs and Features and Uninstall options.

Here is how to bring this time-saving feature to Windows 7 with a free application Menu Uninstaller Ultra. This software tool adds an “Uninstall” option to Windows right-click menu (desktop context menu).

To uninstall a software, simply right-click its shortcut on your Desktop or in your Start menu, and select Uninstall. That’s simple!

Installing Menu Uninstaller Ultra is simple and once installed it requires no configuration. Just download the app (download link below this article), extract it and run the exe file. During installation, it’ll ask your name and email.

The application works with Windows XP, Vista and 7 and requires .NET 4.0 Framework on your system for successful installation.

Menu Uninstaller Ultra can be downloaded from developer’s website here.
