Nokia has released its turn-by-turn navigation app HERE Maps for Android a few weeks ago and now it is updated to support Android 5.0 Lollipop. Previously, there was a bug that stopped HERE app from starting on phones running Lollipop. In addition to the above change, the new update of HERE Maps has also fixed the bug accidentally disappearing downloaded voice files when cleaning app cache on your Android phone. Also, there are several under-the-hood improvements in the latest build to make HERE for Android a more stable travel companion.

For your information, one of the main benefits of Nokia HERE maps is its offline usage. You can download the complete map of a region and use it on the road for navigation without an internet connection. However, it should be noted that you have to download a few gigabytes of data to use offline.

You can install the latest beta version of HERE Maps by downloading (38MB) its APK file from http://here.com/beta/android/. Once downloaded, install it just like any apk file. You do not need to uninstall the old version; it will simply be replaced by the new one. (source)
