If you would like to get these multimedia apps on your non-Xperia phone, folks at XDA managed to extract the APKs for you. The latest multimedia apps by Sony work soundly on all Android devices running on Jelly Bean or KitKat firmware.

The latest version of the Movies, Album and Walkman apps from the Sony Xperia range of device offers new features, improvements and changes that have been listed below.


Walkman (8.1.A.0.3): Now has improved download speed for offline Music Unlimited content, one-touch transfer of Music Unlimited content, easier access to options for each song, album, artist and playlist.

Album (5.3.A.1.0.22): Software performance improvements and better PlayMemories Online experience

Movies (5.3.A.0.18): Seamless access to Sony Entertainment Networks online movie store, high quality audio, video, and visual enhancements, discover and enjoy movies in various ways, and UI enhancements, attractive banner design and faster access to home network devices.
