Google is about to launch a redesigned weather app for Pixel phones with a sleek and minimalistic design. Expecting to launch with the upcoming Pixel 9, the Google Weather app is expected to have a weather map, AI-powered summaries, notifications, options to add multiple locations and more.
The completely redesigned Google Weather app is now available on any phone running Android 14 and up. The app provides real-time weather information, forecasts, and other details for your current or saved locations, all at your fingertips. You can sign in to sync your saved locations across devices, or use the app without a Google Account if you prefer.
As mentioned earlier, the redesigned Google Weather app that will debut on the Pixel 9 phones features a minimalist design. When you open the app, the first thing you’ll notice is the gradient background and a completely new user interface with bold, large temperature text and weather condition icons.
On the bottom of the app, you will see redesigned cards for hourly forecasts, 10-day forecasts, and more. And the widget-like designed cards providing more detailed information on the current weather, including wind, sunrise and sunset times, UV index, air quality index, humidity, and other relevant data.
