Google is all set to launch the next-generation Pixel 4 series smartphones, probably on October 15, along with Android 10 and many new features like Soli gestures, 3D Face unlocks, and new Assistant features. We already have leaked Google Camera 7.0 and wallpapers from Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

Developers are now starting porting Google Camera 7.0 for non-Pixel phones and available for download as GCam Mod 7.0. Obliviously, since Google Pixel 4 comes packed with Snapdragon 855 processor, GCam Mod 7.0 (Pixel 4 Gcam 7.0) should work on the phone with a similar processor, such as the OnePlus 7/7 Pro, Redmi K20 Pro, Zenfone 6, Galaxy Note 10, etc.

There is no reason not to work Google Camera 7.0 Port or Pixel 4 Gcam 7.0 on phones with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. However, the developers confirm that the GCam Mod 7.0 won’t work on the phone with Samsung Exynos, Huawei Kirin, and MediaTek processors.

The new camera app features a new UI and brings new “Infinity focus” option for Night Sight mode, Camera coaching (teach you capture stunning photos), new HDR+ control option and more.

Thanks to GCam Mod developers nullbytepl and the_dise for the Pixel 4 Gcam 7.0 port. The current version GCam-7.0.009-V1.0-nullby.apk has the following bugs.

  • 1080p video doesn’t work. Switch to 720p or 4K.
  • Motion photos are broken. Disable them to prevent crashes.
  • There’s a portrait, hexagon and tint fix in mod settings.
