Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched Honor Magic 2 with amazing features and tech specs. Bezel-less design with sliding display (like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3) , six cameras, 3D Face Unlock, in-display fingerprint reader, Kirin 980 chipset, 40W fast charge, Yoyo virtual assistant with mind reading and machine learning capabilities are the unique features of Honor Magic 2.
Like before, Honor included a set of new wallpapers to customize the home screen and lock screen of Magic 2. Official wallpapers (16 wallpapers) are now available for download in QHD resolution. Honor Magic 2 features a 6.39-inch AMOLED 19.5:9-ratio full screen display (1080 x 2340 pixels, 403 PPI). The handset powers company’s HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, which is said to be more powerful than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 that is powering recently launched Google Pixel 3, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and OnePlus 6T. The handset will be available in 6GB/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage options.
Regarding the camera, the Honor Magic 2 comes with six cameras. On the back, it features a 16 MP main camera, a 24 MP monochrome sensor, and a 16 MP ultra wide-angle camera. For selfie, it packs a 16MP camera and two 2 MP depth sensor. In addition, there is an IR camera for 3D Face Unlock through a depth-sensing bionic lens. The front camera can be accessed by sliding the screen.
The Honor Magic 2 will be launched with Android 9.0 Pie (EMUI 9) out of the box and a 3,400-mAh battery powers it. It also features fast charging and it can charge 50% of the battery by 15 minutes with the included 40W (10V/4A) Magic charger.
