Creating a personal screen unlock pattern is one of the best and easy to use methods to protect an Android phone from unauthorized use. With a pattern, you unlock the device by drawing a simple shape on the screen. However, what if you forgot your unlock pattern? It can keep you from accessing your device for anything beyond making emergency calls. Here is how to unlock a forgotten lock pattern in Android.

To disable the pattern, just input the wrong pattern five times in succession, then tap the ‘Forgot Pattern button’ when it appears (after 30 seconds).

Then, input your Google account user name and password (Gmail user name and password) that corresponds to the phone’s primary account.

However, if you don’t have access your information, then the only solution that you can try is hard resetting your phone.
