A week back OnePlus released the first Android 10 beta for OnePlus 6 and 6T. Now, stable Android 10 updates hit both devices as OxygenOS 10. The update features a brand new UI design and carries several new features. OnePlus 6/6T running on the latest stable OxygenOS will get the update through OTA.

OxygenOS 10 OTA update is now available for OnePlus 6/6T (download link below) running a stable channel. It will take some time to get the OTA update on the device. In case you cannot wait for the OTA, you can install the update via the Local Upgrade method.

After downloading the firmware zip file to your device, open the Settings > System updates > tap on the top right settings icon and choose Local Upgrade.

Your OnePlus 6/6T will look for the update package. Once it sees the package, tap on it and then tap on the install option.

Apart from Android 10 features, the OxygenOS 10 has many added features for OnePlus 6/6T. Full-screen gestures (left/right inward swipes to go back), a bottom navigation bar (for switching left or right for recent apps), contextual display (intelligent info based on specific times/locations/events for Ambient Display) and enhanced location permissions for privacy are some of the new features.
