Honor 8C starts receiving February 2019 security patch OTA update build 8.2.0.130. The update bring ViLTE feature, Sound enhancement and Camera improvements to the device. It will also improve overall system performance and stability. The full software version is BKK-AL 10 8.2.0.130 (V675CUSTC675D1), which is currently rolling out in India for the Honor 8C running software version 8.2.0.106.
Honor 8C was released in 2018, October with Android 8.1 Oreo (EMUI 8.2) out of the box. The new software update brings several improvements to the device. An added feature of this update (B130) is ViLTE (video over LTE) video calling feature. This update will also improve the low light photography.

How to download Honor 8C February 2019 OTA update?
Once the OTA update is live for Honor 8C, you can go through the following steps to capture the latest OTA update and install it. Before proceeding, ensure that your device has more than 50% battery.
1. Make sure your device is running on software version 8.2.0.106
2. Go to Settings app and select “System”.
3. Choose “System updates”.
4. If the February update is live in your region, you will see an “Install Now” option.
The OTA update size is around 354MB, so ensure a good network connection for smooth updating of the phone.
