Smartphones with a high refresh rate (90/120Hz) display panels are becoming more of a thing now. To play certain games and videos, for smoother scrolling, better UI rendering and to reduce eye fatigue requires a higher refresh rate display. OnePlus 7 Pro, Asus ROG Phone, Razer Phone 2, Nubia Red Magic 3, etc. features a higher 90Hz display panel.

Xiaomi Mi 9 smartphone has some seriously impressive specifications and features. Mi 9 has a standard 60Hz AMOLED display panel, but this Mod will change its display refresh rate to 84Hz. All you need to flash the modified DTBO image file via ADB, TWRP or Lanthanum System Toolbox app.
