ClearCloud is a new initiative from Sunbelt Software that offers a safe internet surfing. It is a DNS service; if implemented on your PC, it will filters out malicious website.
ClearCloud will check every web address your computer is trying to access – when you’re browsing the internet, clicking a link in an email, or a program trying to access the internet for update – and blocks if a malicious activity found.
Even if your computer is protected by a powerful antivirus software, ClearCloud still be useful to protect your computer from an unexpected virus or malware attack.
If you’re interested you can replace your current DNS Server to:
Preferred DNS server: 74.118.212.1
Alternate DNS server: 74.118.212.2
If you don’t know how to change your DNS Server on your Windows (XP/Vista/7), Mac OSX, and Routers, just enters here for details.
And finally, to check whether the ClearCloud working properly on your computer, just try any of these two addresses on your browser: test.ssdsandbox.net or clearcloudtest.ssdsandbox.net , if not you will get as shown above screenshot.
