Can i do this via recovery(i have twrp recovery flashed).
i rooted my phone and bricked it thrice(in 4 days), the last being when trying to flash dolby atmos. i thought of reinstalling the os.
i bricked twice earlier trying to flash stock firmware via fastboot but it failed when trying to send “system parse”.
can i select wipe system from twrp and then install cm 12.1( from cyanogen support) (using twrp–>intall).

Not an issue. You can download the ROM for Cyanogen and flash it via fastboot.
