Huawei Honor 5X has received the official LineageOS 15.1 support, which means you can now enjoy Android 8.1 Oreo with stock features. The LineageOS development team has released LineageOS 15.1 nightly build for Honor 5X (kiwi) with all the features of Oreo 8.1 alongside LineageOS own features.
The Lineage OS team has added more devices in the LineageOS 15.1 official list. Most of these devices are upgraded from LineageOS 14.1. The development team has also updated the LineageOS 15.1 build with November 2018 security patch and many changes. While, there is an unhappy news as well. The team dropped support for more than 30 devices.
ZenFone Max Pro (M1) was released in May 2018 with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. This budget, best performing device has already received official LineageOS support.
