Android-virusA few days back we have reported about a malicious Android application, which steal your login details, here is another malicious Android app found from the Android Market by F-Secure.

This time it is a game called Tap Snake, which looks like an average ‘Snake’ clone. But it isn’t just a game; once installed it turns out to be a spying application.

This app has two hidden features. One is it won’t exit. Once installed, it runs in the background forever, and restarts automatically when you boot the phone.snake-game

Secondly, every 15 minutes the game secretly reports the GPS location of the phone to a remote server (you can read more about it at here).

The detection name is called Android.Tapsnake. You can protect you handset from Tap Snake and the spying app called GPS SPY by using F-Secure mobile security. (Via – F-Secure)
