Android One smartphone, Xiaomi Mi A1 is getting a new software update (build N2G47H.7.11.1) with November 2017 Security Patches, alongside Stability Improvement and several Bug fixes. This is not Android Oreo update, in fact it is still based on the Android 7.1.2 Nougat. All Mi A1 users should receive the OTA (over-the-air update) notification for the update shortly.
Experienced users can download and flash the November security update (build N2G47H.7.11.1) update manually on their Mi A1. The OTA update weighs around 1GB (some users reported they are having around 500MB update). Note that all users are recommended to update their device to this latest version, as it will patch several critical vulnerabilities.
If you have not received the new software update yet on your Mi A1, just go to Settings > About Phone > Software updates. If update available, it will start downloading the latest update automatically.

Experienced users can install the update manually by downloading the OTA update or full firmware (fastboot ROM) on to PC. Full ROM update requires unlocked bootloader on the phone and ADB and Fasboot driver setup on the PC.

1. Download N2G47H.7.11.1 OTA update with November, 2017 security patches for Mi A1 (codenamed tissot) [here].
2. Now, follow this installation instruction.
