OnePlus released OxygenOS 9.0.3 hotfix update for OnePlus 5 and 5T that fixes connectivity issue with certain third-party applications on the device. It will also improve stability of system upgrade and sound settings. OxygenOS 9.0.3 hot fix update is being rolling out via OTA. It will also be available for download, if you prefer manual installation.

OxygenOS 9.0.3 is the second hotfix update for OnePlus 5 and 5T after releasing the stable Android 9 Pie (OxygenOS 9.0) a couple of weeks back. The latest update improve the stability of Wi-Fi connection, fixes issue with 4G VoLTE toggle missing and occasional reboots when screen casting.

OxygenOS 9.0.3 update is available via OTA. Check “System Update” tab on your phone for the update. If no update found, then connect your OnePlus 5 or OnePlus 5T to a German or Canadian VPN and then search for the update again to get early. Or, download OxygenOS 9.0.3 full OTA zip file and flash manually as given below.

How to Install OxygenOS 9.0.3 OTA Update on OnePlus 5/5T

1. Download the full OTA update zip file from above link to your phone (internal memory).

2. Reboot the phone to stock recovery [To do so, shutdown device > Press Volume Down + Power buttons together]

3. In recovery menu, select language > Install menu > Install from internal > Select the full OTA zip > Flash [Use volume and power button for navigation and selection]

4. After flashing successfully > Wipe cache and then Reboot the phone.

If you have rooted and installed TWRP on your OnePlus 5/5T, then you can flash the update through it. As always, do not forget to backup all of your data on the phone to a secure location before manually upgrading your device. (Source)
