MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 8.4.19 brings Android 8.0 Oreo to Mi 5, Mi Note 2 and few other devices. The updated MIUI 9 public beta version 8.4.19 is now available for a set of devices and comes with many bug fixes and optimizations. MIUI 9 Global Beta 8.4.19 recovery and fastboot ROM is available for download if you prefer to install the update manually on your device.
A highlight of this beta update (MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 8.4.19) is that the ROM brings Android Oreo to more devices, which includes Mi 5, Mi Note 2, and Mi MIX. It means owners of these devices can expect stable Oreo update within a month or two. Note that, Mi 6 and Mi MIX 2 already have the stable Oreo update.
Other devices getting the new MIUI 9 (v 8.4.19) beta update includes Redmi 3, Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 2, Mi Max, Redmi Note 4, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Redmi 4X, Mi Max 2, Redmi 4A, Mi 6, Redmi Note 5, Redmi 5A, Redmi 5, and Redmi 5 Plus.
