The app is now available on Play Store, which you can install on any phone such as Samsung Galaxy, Xiaomi, Realme Oppo, Google Pixel, etc.

  • Install the HeyMelody app from the Play Store (link).
  • Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and pair your OnePlus Buds/Buds Z
  • Open the HeyMelody app, grant all the required permissions.
  • Tap on the Scan button. Select your device and tap on the available firmware update option on the next page to update your device to a new version.

FYI, OnePlus HeyMelody app also supports Oppo’s Enco W51 and the OPPO Enco X earbuds. So you can update these devices to the latest version with this app. The app will show any available software update for the supported device. You can also view battery levels of your left and right earbuds separately and their charging case.
