QuickBoot is a named feature of OnePlus One. Developed by Qualcomm and Cyanogen for OnePlue One, QuickBoot reduces the boot-up time significantly. It is by making changes in the shutdown and reboot sequences. Now you can add OnePlue One’s QuickBoot feature to any phone running Cyanogen OS 12 or 12.1 ROM.
QuickBoot is a kind of feature introduced by Microsoft in Windows 8. Instead of completely shutting down the device, QuickBoot put the device into hibernate mode when you power off the device. It is by killing all apps, disabling notification, stopping buttons actions and putting the device into Airplane mode. This will make the restart process quite faster.
In this guide, we show you how to get OnePlue One’s QuickBoot feature on all CyanogenMod 12 or 12.1 phones. This version of QuickBoot is taken from Cyanogen OS 12S for OnePlus One and ported to support all CM 12/12.1 ROMs along with all the necessary bug fixes.
Before you get start, please note that do not try this Mod with any incompatible ROMs, as it will brick your device. This Mod supports all CyanogenMod 12.0 or 12.1 based ROMs that has QuickBoot support (most CM 12/12.1 ROMs will support, if it’s built in 2015)
