Realme UI 1.0 over Android 10 has a design overhaul and brings several new features. Realme XT and Realme 3 Pro have received the first Realme UI update. However, Realme XT users are complaining about the degraded sound quality on their device after the Realme UI 1.0 update.
Here’s how to fix the low volume and bad sound quality issue on Realme XT made by the Realme UI 1.0 (Android 10) update. This a temporary fix, which you can try until the OEM releases a bug fixing update for your device.
To fix Realme XT low volume issue, follow the steps given below. Keep in mind that this isn’t a permanent fix. If you reboot your phone, the settings will reset to the default state.
- Download and install QuickShortcut Maker app from Play Store (link)
- After installation, open the app > select Activities > scroll down and tap on Settings.
- In Settings shortcuts, scroll down and tap on the setting Dirac Audio (Real Original Sound technology).
- In the next screen, tap on ‘Try’ to launch the system equalizer.
- In equalizer, raise the each slider to center position (0db) from the bottom side (-6db).
- Now, open Dolby Atmos settings, change the current sound profile to any other, and then go back to the earlier profile. (For example, if the current sound profile is Movie, change it to Music, and then change back to Movie).
This will fix the low volume issue temporarily on Realme XT. If you reboot your phone, the 0db settings will reset to the default -6db settings. Note that we haven’t tested the above steps, so if you own this device, try it and let us know. [Source]
