Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S was one of the first non-Google devices that participated in the Android P beta program. Stable version of Android Pie (Android 9.0.0) is live now and started rolling out to Google Pixel and Essential phone. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is seeking Android 9 Pie based MIUI 10 Global Beta testers for Mi MIX 2S, which means its users can expect the Android Pie stable version sooner or later.
If you own the device and would like to test Android Pie based MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM on it, then you can apply for the beta program. There is no region restriction and the application deadline is August 9, 2018.
Note that, to apply for the Beta program, you should install the MIUI Forum app on Mi MIX 2S. It is for communication purpose. After the installing the QQ app, open it and select Recruitment. Fill out required information as stated and tap on the Submit button. If selected, you will get a forum PM for approval on August 12.
Other requirements to participate in the beta program are – you should have Unlocked Bootloader on Mi MIX 2S and it must be running on the latest MIUI Global Beta ROM.
