OnePlus released a new Android 9 Pie stable update as OxygenOS 9.0.1 for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. In this update, OnePlus fine tuned the firmware to improve the Wi-Fi connection stability, Reading mode and sRGB display mode. The update also fixes the random reboot and 4G VoLTE toggle issues. Recently, OnePlus rolled out its first Android 9 Pie stable update as OxygenOS 9.0.0 for OnePlus 5 and 5T with several new features, UI enhancements, new gaming mode, integrated Google Lens for camera, new navigation gestures, latest security updates and more. OxygenOS 9.0.1 is the second Pie update for both devices.
OxygenOS 9.0.1OTA update is rolling out now. This is the staged roll out, so it will take a couple of days to complete. You can use a VPN app (location set to Germany/Canada) to get early. Alternatively, download the full OTA update and flash manually.

How to Install OxygenOS 9.0.1 on OnePlus 5/5T Manually
1. Download the full OTA update from above link to your phone.
2. Open the ‘Settings’ app.
3. Go to ‘System updates’, tap on the top right corner icon and in the menu, tap on Local upgrade.
4. Choose the upgrade package and then immediately upgrade. System will start the upgrade process and reboot. (Source)
