In this release, Asus updates Google apps and Privacy settings, as well as fix incorrect automatic time zone in Russia. The ZenUI 5.0 OTA update is rolling out now and available for download now.

Asus ZenUI 5.0 features cleaner and smooth UI, Twin Apps, Game Genie for lag free gaming, Intelligent-charging features, AI-powered Gallery and much more. It is said to be intelligent and responsive.
The latest security updates (January 2019) for ZenFone 4 Selfie/Lite comes with build number 15.0400.1901.504. For ZenFone 4 Max, it is comes with build number 15.2016.1901.506. Check for your update manually by going to phone Settings > System > System updates.
