It seems that Samsung is maintaining a firmware update records online for its Galaxy series devices. Samsung launches a web page with details of every firmware OTA update, which includes official changelog of each update, firmware build number, Android version, and release date. This is a useful step to recover details of every Samsung firmware update in future.
As announced earlier, Samsung Galaxy A8 2016 edition starts getting the official Android 7.0 Nougat update. Currently available for Korean variant Galaxy A8 SM-A810S that comes as build number A810SKSU1BQH1, the Nougat update for other Galaxy A8 variants (SM-A810F, SM-A800YZ, SM-A800S, etc) are forthcoming. The Android 7.0 update rolls out via OTA, but you can also install the update manually via Kies and Odin as well.

Xiaomi has officially released MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 7.8.10 for Redmi Note 4/4X and Mi 6. This is the public beta, so any Redmi Note 4 and Mi 6 owners can download and install the ROM on their device and experience the lightning fast MIUI 9 (Android 7.0 Nougat). If you are already on MIUI 8 public beta, check the MIUI 9 update on your device by opening Updater app. Other users need to install the Fastboot ROM.
Xiaomi has starting to roll out MIUI 8.5.4.0 Global Stable ROM for Redmi Note 4/4x. The update brings Android 7.0 Nougat, July 2017 security patches, a handful of new features and general bug fixes to Redmi Note 4. The update (MIUI 8.5.4.0 NCFMIED) is rolling out via OTA and all users will get the update notification in a week or more. Xiaomi is set to release MIUI 9 Global Beta 7.8.8 ROM for Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm/Redmi Note 4X and Mi 6 on next Friday. Users run on latest MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM will get the MIUI 9 Beta update through OTA. Other users need to unlock the bootloader and flash via fastboot.
