The development team at OnePlus is constantly working on OxygenOS update to provide best new features and performance improvements to its smartphone users. OnePlus just starts rolling out the OxygenOS 3.2.8 OTA update to OnePlus 3 that brings some important changes to the handset for better user experience. Company’s newest device OnePlus 3T has received a new update yesterday.

Based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the OxygenOS 3.2.8 update brings new features, general bug fixes and stability improvements to OnePlus 3. As the OTA update is rolling out in phases, it will take few days to get it on all devices. Highlighted features of OxygenOS 3.2.8 update for OnePlus 3:

– Added 1080P 60FPS video recording
– Added emergency calling for India (Triple press of power button to trigger)
– Optimization of Snapchat, fixed video calling and scrolling lags
– Increased system stability
– General bug fixes

Certainly, the most important change in this update is added 1080P 60FPS video recording function, which makes media playback smoother and more pleasing to eyes. Other highlighted features include emergency calling for India and optimization for Snapchat.

If you have not received the OTA update notification on your OnePlus 3, check it by going to Settings > about phone > system update. The update weighs 34MB and if update found, let it download and install.

To apply the OxygenOS 3.2.8 OTA update, your OnePlus 3 should be on stock recovery, unrooted and stock ROM (OxygenOS 3.2.7). If not, you need to download the full ROM and install it manually. (Source)
