Waiting for the Android 9 Pie update on your Nokia 6? The wait is now over. HMD Global has released first beta build of Android Pie for the device in China. Furthermore, leaked Nokia 6 Android 9 Pie beta firmware is now available for download. Tech-savvy owners can install it on their phone to experience new features of the brand new OS.
There good news for all Nokia phones users, as HMD Global has already confirmed latest Android 9 Pie update for all of its devices. The company has already upgraded most of its smartphones to stable Android 9 Pie, including the Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus.
XDA senior member hikari_calyx shared the leaked Pie firmware along with instructions to flash it on Nokia 6. In fact, there are two methods to flash the firmware on the device – manually or force OTA update. Both methods will wipe user data, so before follow the instructions to update the device to Android 9 Pie, backup all your important data.
