Xiaomi has released first MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM for Poco F1. You can install it on your phone manually – even without unlocking the bootloader. It means any Poco F1 user can install the ROM and enjoy new features and exquisiteness of MIUI 10. Read on to know how to install the latest MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 8.9.13 on Poco F1.
Xiaomi Poco F1 was released with MIUI 9.6, top-notch specs and new app drawer feature. The phone now receives MIUI 10 beta that offers new features like front camera AI-Portraits, completely new design, new notification shade, full-screen gestures, nature sounds all over the system, faster than MIUI 9 and much more.

For your information, Xiaomi’s open beta ROM is almost stable and can be used as a daily driver. However, you should always expect some unknown bugs.
Download Poco F1 MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM

– Download MIUI 10 (8.9.13) fastboot ROM [here or here]
# Fastboot method (backup all data on the phone before start)
Note: This method requires unlocked bootloader. See this post for instruction.
1. Download MIUI Fastboot ROM Flashing Tool from here to your PC
2. Download Poco F1 fastboot ROM from above link to PC
3. Turn off the device. Press the Volume Down key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode.
4. Install MIUI Fastboot ROM Flashing Tool on your PC.
5. Connect the phone to PC.
6. Double click on the downloaded Fastboot ROM.tgz file to unzip it. Open the file folder for the unzipped ROM pack, and copy its path on the computer.
7. Open MIUI Fastboot ROM Flashing Tool and paste the ROM file folder path into the address bar.
8. Click the ‘Refresh’ button on Flashing tool. Your phone should automatically recognize your phone. (If not, install proper driver for your device).
9. Now, click ‘Flash’ button to flash the ROM file to your phone. Once the installation process is finished, your device should automatically boot to the new version.
#Recovery method (Does not require bootloader unlock)
1. Download MIUI 10 Global beta recovery ROM
2. Create a folder named ‘downloaded_rom’ on your phone and copy and paste downloaded ROM zip file on it.
3. Launch Settings > About phone > System update > tap ‘three dots’ icon at the top-right corner > select ‘choose update package’.
4. Choose the ROM zip file you just saved and your phone will start upgrading to MIUi 10.
